AJ Type Banded Classical V-Belt

AJ is a banded classical V-belt with a 13 mm top width per rib, 15.6 mm pitch distance, 10 mm height, and 40° belt angle. Available in 47-208 inch inside lengths, it joins multiple V-belt ribs with a reinforced top band so the assembly operates as one transmission unit. The compact joined construction improves transverse rigidity, keeps rib spacing consistent, and helps reduce turnover, vibration, and uneven tension in multi-groove drives. High-strength tensile cords support controlled elongation and stable power sharing, while the rubberized fabric structure provides good resistance to heat, oil, ozone, abrasion, and repeated flexing. It is suitable for fans, pumps, compressors, agricultural machinery, and ventilation equipment. The number of joined ribs must be selected according to belt length, pulley width, and load.

Structure

The belt consists of multiple V-shaped ribs, high-strength tensile cords, rubber compression layers, protective fabric, and a reinforced joining band. The backing band controls lateral movement and keeps the ribs aligned while the sidewalls engage the pulley grooves.
