How do you control product quality?
Quality is controlled throughout the order, not only at final inspection. Rubber conveyor belts are monitored from raw-material verification, compound preparation, fabric or steel-cord inspection, calendering, forming and vulcanization through finished-belt and laboratory testing. Transmission belts are checked for dimensions, markings and agreed performance tests, while rollers are inspected for tube, shaft, bearing, seal, runout, rotation and protection requirements. Only products meeting the confirmed specification and inspection plan are released for packing and shipment.

What raw-material tests are performed?
Rubber compounds are tested with a moving-die rheometer to evaluate curing behaviour, processing stability, and suitability for consistent production. EP fabric is checked for tensile strength and elongation at break to help control belt strength, flexibility, and dimensional stability. For steel-cord belts, cord condition and bonding-related requirements are checked according to the confirmed belt construction and project specification.

What finished-belt inspections are performed before shipment?
Finished belts are checked for surface defects, damage, uneven areas, edge condition, length, width, total thickness, top and bottom cover thickness, order markings, and other project-specific dimensions. Where required, roll diameter and packing dimensions are also verified for container loading. Any visible issue is corrected and rechecked before final delivery approval.

Depending on the product and purchase specification, testing can cover compound curing behaviour, tensile strength, elongation, hardness, abrasion, cover-to-ply and ply-to-ply adhesion, full-belt tensile performance, heat, oil, flame and antistatic properties. Transmission-belt checks can include chemical performance, flex-crack resistance and running endurance. Roller inspection can include tube-wall measurement, ultrasonic defect detection, radial runout, axial displacement, rotating resistance, dust protection, water protection and drop testing. The exact test list and sampling plan must be agreed before production.

What is the standard lead time for importing large quantities of industrial rubber conveyor belts from China?
Our normal production lead time is about 30 days after the specification, payment, and commercial terms are confirmed. Urgent orders may be arranged in approximately 15–20 days when raw materials, tooling, quantity, and production capacity allow. Import lead time must also include inspection, inland transport, export handling, sea or air transit, customs clearance, and final delivery.

Do you keep products in stock?
Most industrial conveyor belts and customized transmission belts are made to order, so fixed stock is limited. Availability of standard V belts, timing belts, rollers, and common sizes can be checked case by case.

A common term is 30% deposit before production and 70% balance before shipment. L/C can be discussed for suitable orders. Alibaba Trade Assurance may also be used when the transaction is placed through the relevant Alibaba channel.

How does your packaging prevent conveyor belts from deforming or ageing during long-distance sea transport?
Belts are tightly rolled on a suitable core and protected according to size and route with waterproof wrapping, PVC board, steel sheet, end covers, pallets, or a steel frame. For long storage or humid routes, buyers should also specify moisture protection, rust protection for metal parts, storage limits, and handling instructions.

How are V belts, timing belts, rollers, and pulleys packed?
V belts and timing belts are normally coiled without sharp bends, individually or batch labelled, protected in inner bags where required, and packed in cartons or woven-bag outer packs. Retail labels and customized cartons can be arranged. Rollers and pulleys are protected against impact and moisture using pallets, wooden cases, steel frames or reinforced export cartons according to weight and dimensions. Shaft ends, painted surfaces and machined faces receive additional protection when required.

Which shipping documents can you provide?
Depending on the order and destination, we can prepare commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading information, certificates of origin, test reports, inspection documents, and other agreed export documents. What is the warranty period?
Standard rubber conveyor belts are generally covered for about 12 months, provided that storage, installation, splicing, maintenance, and operating conditions meet the agreed requirements. V belts and other transmission belts may not have a uniform warranty period because their service life is significantly affected by load, alignment, installation tension, pulley condition, operating frequency, and the working environment. For all products, the final warranty period, coverage, exclusions, and settlement terms are subject to the conditions confirmed in the order contract.

What is your claim policy if a belt breaks for non-human causes during the warranty period?
If a non-human break is confirmed to be our product-quality responsibility and falls within the agreed warranty, we will provide technical support and agree on replacement, compensation, refund, or another corrective solution according to the contract.

Which is stronger, a cold-bonded splice or a hot-vulcanized splice?
For heavy-duty fabric and steel cord conveyor belts, a correctly designed and executed hot-vulcanized splice normally provides higher splice efficiency, consistency, and long-term durability. Cold bonding can be useful when a press or sufficient shutdown time is unavailable, but performance depends heavily on surface preparation, adhesive quality, temperature, humidity, pressure, and curing time. The final method must match the belt construction, tension, safety level, and site capability.

What are the most common causes of conveyor belt mistracking, and how can they be adjusted quickly?
Common causes include misaligned pulleys or idlers, off-centre loading, material buildup, an unsquared or misaligned splice, unequal tension, a twisted or unlevel frame, damaged belt edges, seized rollers, and wind or weather. For a quick first response, stop and lock out the conveyor, remove buildup, check for seized rollers, centre the loading, verify the splice and pulley/idler alignment, and adjust only one identified cause at a time. Do not force the belt by randomly tilting multiple idlers.

How should conveyor belt wear be checked routinely for predictive maintenance?
Establish fixed inspection points and intervals. Record top- and bottom-cover thickness, edge wear, cuts, gouges, cracks, splice and fastener condition, exposed fabric or steel cord, abnormal polishing, delamination, carryback, tracking, and roller condition. Compare measurements with the original belt and previous inspections, and set warning and replacement limits based on minimum remaining cover, reinforcement exposure, splice condition, and the risk of sudden failure.

How should conveyor belt tension be set?
Tension should be high enough to prevent drive-pulley slip and maintain stable tracking, but not so high that it overloads the belt, splice, bearings, pulleys, or structure. Use the conveyor design data and measure take-up position, sag, and operating behavior under load.

How should belts be stored to extend service life?
Store belts in a cool, dry, ventilated indoor area away from direct sunlight, heaters, ozone-producing equipment, chemicals, oil, moisture and sharp objects. Avoid tight bends, compression and hanging belts from a single small peg. Conveyor-belt rolls should be supported correctly and rotated or repositioned when long-term storage could cause deformation. Use reasonable stock rotation and inspect the belt before installation.

How should a V-belt drive be tensioned?
Use the calculated or manufacturer-specified tension for the exact belt and drive. The correct tension is generally the lowest tension that transmits the maximum design load without slip. Too little tension causes slip, squeal, heat and wear; too much tension overloads belts, bearings and shafts. After installation, rotate the drive several revolutions, recheck tension, and follow the specified run-in and retension procedure for the belt type.

Should all belts in a multiple V-belt drive be replaced together?
Yes. Replace the complete set and use belts of the same type, manufacturer and matched-length group. Mixing old and new belts or belts with different length characteristics prevents equal load sharing, so the new or tighter belts can carry most of the load and fail early. Inspect the sheave grooves before fitting the new set because worn grooves can quickly damage replacement belts.

Tooth jumping can result from insufficient tension, overload, inadequate teeth in mesh, a pulley that is too small, incorrect tooth-profile compatibility, worn teeth, or sudden shock. Then confirm conveyor length, lift, load, speed, incline, impact height, pulley diameter, working hours, and the required safety standard. These factors determine the carcass, cover compound, surface profile, thickness, and reinforcement.

Which cold-resistant conveyor belt offers the longest service life in extreme temperatures down to -40°C?
No single belt compound has the longest life in every -40°C application. Select a cold-resistant cover and skim compound whose verified low-temperature range is below the lowest start-up and operating temperature, while maintaining flexibility, adhesion, and crack resistance. Also check carcass type, minimum pulley diameter, splice materials, idler condition, start-up procedure, wind chill, and whether the belt is stored or stopped outdoors. A belt qualified only for normal temperatures can stiffen, crack, lose adhesion, and fail prematurely in severe cold.

There is no reliable selection formula based only on belt thickness. First calculate the required working tension from conveyor load, length, lift, speed, drive arrangement, and resistance; then select the carcass rating and number of plies with the required safety factor, troughability, splice efficiency, and minimum pulley diameter. Cover thickness is selected separately according to abrasion, impact, material size, loading method, and target service life. Excessive thickness or too many plies can make the belt too stiff.

What is the difference between moulded edge and cut edge?

What is an impact- and cut-resistant conveyor belt?
This belt uses a stronger cover compound and may include textile or steel breaker reinforcement to resist impact, cuts, gouging, and chipping. It is suitable for crushers, rough stone, scrap, logs, glass, and metal fragments, but no belt can provide complete protection against every sharp object.

What is a tear-resistant conveyor belt, and how does it help prevent sharp ore from puncturing the belt?
A tear-resistant belt contains transverse reinforcement, such as textile breaker fabric, steel mesh, steel breaker cords, or another rip-stop layer. If a sharp ore piece becomes trapped and starts cutting the belt longitudinally, the transverse reinforcement helps resist penetration and limit the tear from propagating. Actual suitability depends on continuous and peak temperature, particle size, contact time, belt speed, ambient cooling, loading pattern, and the selected rubber compound.

When should a flame-resistant and antistatic conveyor belt be used?
It should be considered when conveying combustible materials or operating in environments with fire or static-electricity risk, such as coal handling, underground mining, power plants, fertilizer plants, wood, paper, and recycling. The exact flame and antistatic standard must be specified for the project.

How do I select an oil-resistant conveyor belt?
Please identify whether the material contains cereal oil, animal or vegetable oil, or mineral oil such as hydraulic or engine oil. Also provide the oil concentration, material temperature, and contact time, because oil and heat together can accelerate swelling, softening, and cover deterioration.

How are agricultural harvester conveyor belts different from ordinary industrial conveyor belts?
Agricultural belts are designed for severe seasonal duty rather than steady indoor operation. Combines, forage harvesters, balers, and other machines can expose belts to shock loads, dust, crop residue, mud, moisture, outdoor temperature changes, frequent clutching, reverse flexing, small pulleys, and temporary overloads. Agricultural belts therefore commonly use high-strength tensile members such as aramid or reinforced polyester, strong adhesion, controlled length tolerances, and compounds selected for heat, abrasion, flex fatigue, oil, ozone, and weather resistance. The correct agricultural belt should be matched to the machine model and drive layout; a general industrial belt with the same nominal size may not provide the same load capacity or service life.

How can belt cracking be reduced when conveying hot clinker in a cement plant?
Use a heat-resistant conveyor belt whose cover compound and carcass are selected from the actual continuous and peak material temperatures, not only the kiln-discharge temperature. Heat-resistant EPDM-based compounds and heat-protective carcass structures help slow hardening, cracking, adhesion loss, and carcass separation. What is the difference between a wrapped V belt and a raw-edge cogged V belt?
A wrapped V belt has a fabric cover around the belt body, protecting the core and giving stable performance in general industrial drives. A raw-edge belt transmits power through exposed, accurately formed sidewalls, while molded cogs improve flexibility and heat dissipation. Raw-edge cogged belts can suit smaller pulleys and high-flex drives, but they require correct sheave geometry and alignment. Neither construction is automatically better for every application.

What is the difference between classical and narrow V belts?
Classical sections such as A, B and C are widely used on established general-purpose drives. Narrow sections such as SPZ/SPA/SPB/SPC or 3V/5V/8V use a deeper, narrower geometry and can transmit more power in a smaller drive envelope when correctly designed. They require matching sheaves and cannot be substituted only by comparing top width or nominal length.

When should a banded V belt be used?
A banded V belt joins several V-belt strands with a high-strength tie band. It is useful on drives with pulsating or heavy shock loads, long center distances, vertical shafts, clutching action, or conditions that cause individual belts to whip, turn over or jump from the grooves. The tie band improves lateral rigidity and maintains strand spacing, but the complete drive must use compatible sheaves and correct tension.

What is a double V belt, and where is it used?
A double V belt, also called a hexagonal belt, has driving sidewalls on both sides and can transmit power through both the inside and outside of the belt. It is used in serpentine or multiple-shaft layouts where some driven shafts rotate in opposite directions, including selected agricultural machinery and special industrial drives. The belt profile, back-bend diameter and pulley arrangement must be confirmed.

How should a timing-belt pitch and tooth profile be selected?
The tooth profile must exactly match the pulley. Trapezoidal profiles are common in light-duty and established precision drives; HTD-type curvilinear profiles are widely used for higher torque; modified curvilinear profiles can improve load capacity and resistance to tooth jumping in suitable systems. Smaller pitch supports smaller pulleys and finer positioning, while larger pitch supports higher load. Final selection requires power, speed, pulley teeth, desired accuracy, backlash, belt width and service factor.

How are power transmission belts tested before shipment?
Inspection is based on the confirmed product and sampling plan. It can include profile dimensions, effective or pitch length, width, rib or tooth count, marking, appearance and packaging. Laboratory or type tests can include chemical performance, rubber flex-crack resistance, tensile strength, hardness, abrasion resistance and running endurance. Not every destructive or endurance test is performed on every finished belt; the agreed test frequency and acceptance values should be confirmed before production.

What conveyor roller products do you supply?
We supply steel idler rollers, impact rollers, flat and troughing carrying idlers, return rollers, rubber-disc and spiral return rollers, garland idlers, self-aligning or training idlers, transition idlers, brackets and complete idler sets. Series can be selected for TD75, DTII and CEMA arrangements, subject to the project dimensions and load.

Depending on the project, idler sets can be produced or selected with reference to DTII, TD75, CEMA, DIN, and JIS configurations. Shaft size, tube diameter, bearing, seal structure, load, and installation dimensions must be confirmed.

The available range can cover roller diameters of approximately 63.5–245 mm and pulley diameters of approximately 114–2400 mm. Roller and pulley lengths are customized according to the conveyor drawing and load requirements.

Yes. We can supply head, tail, bend, take-up, and drive pulleys, together with rubber or ceramic lagging options. Pulley diameter, face width, shaft, hub, bearing arrangement, torque, and surface treatment must be specified.

Yes. Available accessories can include primary cleaners, secondary cleaners, roller-brush cleaners, ceramic liners, replaceable pulley lagging, belt covers, fasteners, and selected repair products.

How do I choose between steel and HDPE rollers?
Steel rollers are commonly selected for heavy loads and demanding industrial service. HDPE rollers are lighter, corrosion-resistant, and can reduce handling weight and noise in suitable environments. Load, belt speed, temperature, impact, and chemical exposure should guide the decision.

What are the main structural parts and seal options of a conveyor roller?
A typical steel idler includes the tube, shaft, bearing seats or housings, bearings, internal and external seals, retaining parts and end components. Impact rollers add rubber support rings. Available catalog structures include metal-seal and TK-type sealing arrangements, together with different shaft ends such as inner or outer double flats, threaded ends and garland connection holes. The seal and shaft-end design must match dust, water, speed, load and mounting requirements.

How do carrying, impact, return, rubber-disc, and spiral rollers differ?
Carrying idlers support the loaded belt in flat or trough form. Impact idlers use rubber rings at loading points to absorb impact and protect the belt. Return idlers support the empty return strand. Rubber-disc and spiral return rollers help reduce material buildup and can assist cleaning or prevent sticky material from accumulating on the roller surface. The roller type should be selected from material condition, impact, carryback, belt width and speed.

What is a garland idler and when is it useful?
A garland idler connects two, three or more rollers with flexible links and suspends the set from the conveyor frame. The flexible trough can adapt to load and absorb part of the impact, and individual rollers can be replaced by disconnecting the links. Garland sets are useful on selected heavy-duty, mobile, rough-terrain or difficult-access conveyors, but the suspension geometry, belt width, load and dynamic movement must be engineered.

What do self-aligning or training idlers do?
Self-aligning idlers pivot or use guide structures to create a corrective steering force when the belt moves off center. They can help control moderate mistracking, but they should not be used to hide root causes such as misaligned pulleys, off-center loading, seized rollers, buildup, an unsquared splice or a twisted frame. Correct the conveyor geometry first, then use training idlers where the design requires them.

What quality tests can be performed on conveyor rollers?
The catalog quality system includes steel-tube wall-thickness measurement, ultrasonic defect detection, external radial runout, axial displacement, dust-proof performance, water-proof performance, drop testing and rotating-resistance testing. Routine orders may use a defined sampling plan rather than testing every roller for every item. The buyer should confirm test method, sample quantity, acceptance value and whether inspection must be witnessed.

What surface treatments are available for steel rollers and brackets?
Steel surfaces can be cleaned and prepared before painting. Catalog production examples include spray painting and baked paint, while other agreed corrosion-protection systems can be reviewed for the project. The coating should be selected from indoor or outdoor use, humidity, salt, chemicals, abrasion and expected service life. Machined bearing and shaft surfaces must be protected without interfering with fit.
