Built around the fine-pitch PJ profile, this 9-rib Poly V belt is intended for drives where compact pulley dimensions and repeated flexing are important. Nine narrow ribs maintain broad contact with the pulley while allowing the belt to bend smoothly through the drive path.

Compared with larger-pitch ribbed belt profiles, PJ belts use a finer 2.34 mm rib pitch. This makes the construction particularly suitable for compact automotive accessory systems and light mechanical transmission layouts.

    SINOCONVE 9PJ Poly V belts are designed for drive systems where flexibility, compact pulley geometry and consistent rib engagement are important. Instead of relying on one large V-section, the belt uses nine narrow longitudinal ribs to distribute contact across the pulley surface.

    The fine PJ profile makes this construction suitable for relatively small pulley diameters and short bending radii. It can be used in selected automotive accessory systems, compact machinery and other transmission layouts designed for a matching PJ pulley.

    Why Use a PJ Ribbed Belt?

    PJ belts use a finer rib geometry than PK belts. The smaller rib pitch allows more ribs to work across a relatively compact belt width and helps the belt flex through tighter pulley arrangements.

    9PJ Is a Profile Code, Not a Complete Belt Size

    A common source of ordering errors is treating 9PJ as a complete belt model. It only tells you two things:

    9 — the belt has nine ribs

    PJ — the belt uses the PJ rib profile

    The effective length must still be specified separately. A complete identification may therefore appear in a format such as 9PJ + length value. For replacement purchases, buyers should provide the full marking printed on the original belt whenever possible.
