For rubber conveyor belts, testing may include important performance checks such as compound curing behavior, tensile strength, elongation, hardness, abrasion resistance, cover-to-ply adhesion, ply-to-ply adhesion, and full-belt tensile performance. Additional tests can also be included for special requirements, such as heat resistance, oil resistance, flame resistance, and antistatic properties.
For transmission belts, laboratory checks may cover chemical performance, flex-crack resistance, and running endurance to evaluate their reliability during operation. For conveyor rollers, inspections may include tube-wall measurement, ultrasonic defect detection, radial runout, axial displacement, rotating resistance, dust protection, water protection, and drop testing.
The exact testing items and sampling plan should be confirmed before production based on the product specifications and customer requirements. This helps ensure that the inspection process matches the actual application conditions and quality expectations.
